Recap of our trip on to the city of Athens, Greece in the summer of 2021. We stayed mostly in the downtown of Athens and walked to everything. This was our last city that we would be staying in before coming home. Unfortunately, there was a strike for transit workers going on the day we were supposed to arrive, so the ferry was not running. We had to schedule a last minute flight to Athens instead. We did almost all the touristy things that you would see in the city, as well as visiting areas most tourists don’t visit. Not only that, but we only had 3 1/2 days to see as much as possible, so it was much more jam packed compared to our usual travel pace.
