Jay talks with Erin Corrales-Diaz, PhD. Erin serves as the Assistant Curator of American Art at the Worcester Art Museum
and she’s also the curator of the groundbreaking new exhibition entitled The Iconic Jersey: Baseball x Fashion, which is currently on display at the Worcester Art Museum until September 12. This is the first museum exhibition to focus specifically on the design evolution of baseball jerseys and their impact on the sport, the runway, and in everyday life. During the program, we’ll be finding out why and how The Iconic Jersey: Baseball x Fashion exhibition came about, we’ll go on a behind-the-scenes tour and, in the process, come to better understand and appreciate the baseball jersey’s development over time as well as its place in both fashion and pop culture.
