We cross into Western Australia and reach Lake Argyle in the Eastern Kimberley. Lake Argyle is Western Australia’s largest and Australia’s second largest freshwater man-made reservoir by volume. It is home to an amazing range of wildlife, including an estimated 30,000 freshwater crocodiles (the non-dangerous sort). We arrive late because of the earlier escapade with our transport and the sun has set. We can still appreciate the beauty of the area as we travel high-speed across the lake to our campsite. 22 August 2018.
