Já repararam que, desde que são semeadas, as árvores permanecem sempre no mesmo sítio, a partir do qual se alimentam, se defendem e se reproduzem? Não são como nós, que nascemos num país e podemos viajar ou até ir morar para o outro lado do planeta. E tal como a música difere de continente, podemos encontrar árvores muito diferentes espalhadas pelo mundo: árvores que são autênticas casas, outras que atraem multidões para serem admiradas, outras que produzem material que já chegou à Lua… Mas não quero estragar a surpresa: no meu concerto vou contar-vos histórias sobre o mundo maravilhoso das árvores com a ajuda de um pequeno grande instrumento: o toy piano! — Joana Gama

Have you noticed that once planted trees forever remain in the same place, from where they feed, protect and reproduce themselves? They are not like us, born in a country and able to travel—or even move—to the other side of the planet. And in the same way music changes from one continent to the other, we can find very different trees scattered throughout the world: trees that are actual houses, others that attract crowds in admiration, others that produce material that has reached the Moon… But I do not wish to ruin the surprise: in my concert, I will tell you stories about the wonderful world of trees with the help of a small but great instrument: the toy piano! — Joana Gama
