Been very iressed with the Oliver Charles sweater – FESCH.TV

So I’ve been very impressed with the Oliver Charles sweater that I got, starting with the packaging. It was very unique, came in a cylinder and was very well presented. It just makes you feel like you’re getting a quality product.

So despite wearing it every day for the last eight days, I’ve been thrilled with the quality. I’m not very nice to my clothes either. I tend to be pretty active. In fact, the first day that I wore it, I ended up jogging about a mile because my teenage son ran out of gas and we had to go hike to get some. It was fairly warm, but it wasn’t actually so warm that I was sweating profusely. I mean I was sweating because I was jogging but not because of the sweater. So that was not the best start for wearing the same sweater for the next seven days, but you know it didn’t smell at all and it remained comfortable.

I like the sleeves on my sweaters to be on the tighter side, and the good news is this sweater had perfectly fitting sleeves and they haven’t stretched out, so this has been a great garment for me. I’ve gone hiking, I’ve gone to the office, I’ve worn it with a shirt underneath, I worked at church, I’ve done all sorts of things that I normally do and the sweater performed great. I’m even in the middle of several projects, including building a treehouse, which is about 15 feet off the ground and large. I’ve been cutting wood, drilling, hammering, climbing up and down ladders, I got rained on a couple of times, and the sweater just continued to be great.

I’m not that fashion forward of a person but I was intrigued with the challenge of simplifying my life and the clothes that I wear and the decisions that I have to make. I am looking for quality over quantity for sure. I’ve got six kids and so you know we get overrun with laundry in a hurry if we’re not careful. So having a few less things to worry about and care for are right up my alley right now.
