4Cs Reads! is a project where staff and board members of 4Cs of Alameda County share their favorite children’s books with our community.

The reader spotlight is Chantae Wilson, our Family Resources Coordinator. Chantae introduces „This Is Ruby“ written by Sara O’Leary and illustrated by Alea Marley. „This Is Ruby“ is a beautiful book about a creative, busy little girl. In this picture book, we are immersed in Ruby’s world and all of the things that interest her, whether it be building, space, time travel, engineering, etc.

Children will enjoy and identify with Ruby’s world. It has no limits, it has no rules. She does whatever her heart and mind tell her to do. Adults reading this book to their little ones will be reminded of their own carefree childhood days.
