Emory Winship Atlanta, Georgia

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

GBL was tasked with suppling our client with material and maned access to Emory Winship’s unique Fly-by corner panel design. GBL was utilized due to the projects compounding long reach, high capacity and limited back span for equipment that the job site allowed. We were able to design a dual monorail system which had 10-ft of extended reach past it’s last support while still maintaining 4,000 lbs. of material handling capacity and maned access at the full 10-ft of cantilever. In addition, we had a second dual monorail system that allowed for travel in and away from the building up to 5’-6” with a 22-ft side to side travel distance while maintaining the same capacities previously mentioned. While these dual monorail systems were unique and accessed the more difficult areas on the project, we were able to easily access and set the rest of the building’s façade using a more standard and new to the market piece of equipment; the GBL-BG Lift. The GBL-BG Lift is an Electric Tracked Hoist which has a capacity of 1,980 lbs. This piece of equipment’s ease of setting up and relocating, along with its telescopic and rotatable boom allows for more panels to be set than ever before.
