Gucci Insired Fashion Fil – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

As part of a university module, we had to plan and create a fashion film inspired by our own chosen high-end brand in which I chose Gucci for their creative retro aesthetic. All aspects of their previous fashion films intrigued me as I loved the vintage nostalgia and mystical style from the fashion; to the music; to the storytelling. After completing a brand report and gaining a further understanding of the brands identity I created by fashion film. As at the time it was lockdown and the pandemic, I decided to focus on themes of escapism through music and fashion. I had various cultural inspirations for my film such as counterculture and psychedelic artists, however, with the main aesthetic surrounding Syd Barrett’s quickly and moody style. Due to changes in restrictions and external factors I had to adapt, change and be resourceful with creating the film for example only being able to use one model; having to shoot most of it outside and not being able to reshoot. Overall, I was proud of the outcome I produced during that time.
