The fourth and final part will begin with my exiting of the famed land that is Patagonia, along with a farewell to a travel companion. Fear not, as I run into a new one to accompany me into the polar opposite part of Argentina. The scorching hot, red earth, mars-like terrain of the north. We rent a car completely unsuitable for the geography and travel through cities like Salta and Jujuy, as well as finding ourselves smack bang in the middle of the biggest party of South America. Carnaval.

Get those coca leaves into your mouth, we’re going to be driving up to the clouds…
