TOP TEN: Ashe

She was born as Ashlyn Rae Wilson in San Jose, California. At the age of 8 she began to attend piano lessons. She then attended Berklee College of Music and graduated with a major in contemporary writing and production in 2015. She began her career by spezialising in appearing in dance and house tracks from various DJs.

After signing on an independent label she released her debut single ‚Used To It‘ in June 2017. One year later she released her first EP called ‚The Rabbit Hole‘. In 2019 she released her 2nd EP ‚Moral of the Story, Chapter I‘ produced by Finneas O’Connell (the brother of Billie Eilish). The title track reached the Top 100 in the USA and #31 in the UK, among other charts.

A few months later her 3rd EP ‚Moral of the Story, Chapter II‘ was released. In 2021 she released her debut album ‚Ashlyn‘ which cracked the Top 200 of the US album charts. Her 2nd studio album ‚Rae‘ in announced to be released in October 2022.
