TOP TEN: Jonas Blue

He was born as Guy James Robin in England. His breakthrough came in 2015 when his version of Tracy Champman’s ‚Fast Car‘ featuring Dakota peaked at #2 in the UK Single Charts, a higher peak than the original which peaked at #5 in 1988. It also topped the Australian Single Charts and reached #2 in Germany, Sweden and New Zealand.

The follow-up single with JP Cooper called ‚Perfect Strangers‘ also peaked at #2 in his homecountry as well as in the Netherlands, #3 in Sweden and #6 in Australia among other places. His next top ten single was ‚Mama‘ with William Singe as the featured act. It peaked at #4 in the UK, topped the Dutch Single Charts and reached Top 5 in Germany among other places.

His next Top Ten single was released in 2018: ‚Rise‘ with Jack & Jack peaked at #3 in the UK and Netherlands, #7 in Australia and #8 in Germany. His debut album ‚Blue‘ was released at the end of the same year and peaked at #33 in the UK.
