The FlyGirl video, shot in Brooklyn, NYC, is a joint effort between Hyperfly’s most talented women. Each talent is a force to be reckoned with and showcases their individual raw power throughout a one-day production. Traditionally the aptitudes of women have been relegated to two-dimensional assigned roles.

There was little to choose from when picking your fighter. „I AM MY I AM“ is about the vast and varied talent not only portrayed here by the FlyGirl Video. Girls move in unique ways. As a fighter, you can view yourself as tough but also soft. As a runner, it’s about the journey and confronting something head-on. As a dancer, you express the spectrum of emotions and attitudes through your many movements. As an athlete, you strive to understand your body more through training. Flygirls are all about owning your unique character, which translates physically into how you move.

Martial arts are a way of learning more about yourself, discovering more through discipline and training and focus. Jiu Jitsu is not only a combat sport but also a gentle art. We introduce in this line and video the statement “I AM MY I AM” which is all about this, knowing who you are and how you can express yourself through movement.
