This Spring/Summer collection delves into the magical process of creation, the journey from a blank canvas to a masterpiece. We explore the inner workings of creative minds, unraveling how their visions evolve into stunning works of art. This collection spotlights the culture of various exceptional artists and craftsmen, each weaving a distinct symphony from genesis. Our first featured artist is Mees Temminck, a top-tier sushi artisan, operating in the Dutch top-segment where he elevates cultural culinary art to new heights.

Living and operating in Amsterdam’s high segment culinary heart there is Mees Temminck, owner and sushi-artist at Azuma Amsterdam and a unique artist in his field. Mees stands apart in his field, known for his talent in transforming the finest global ingredients into sushi masterpieces. We met him last January as an artist and craftsman of exceptional skill. Each dish is proof to his pursuit of perfection and creativity.

At Azuma, every plate is a symphony of flavors, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Mees’s dedication to excellence is evident in his careful selection of ingredients, from the choicest parts of tuna to exotic spices that elevate his creations. His process is an intricate dance of research, experimentation, failing, trying and refinement, ensuring every bite is an experience to remember.
