I was super stoked to be able to take the time and have the opportunity to make a sculptural/wearable piece that would move naturally. For this project, I was able to use all of my leftover decor from my wedding this past December came in handy as well. I had so much fun using items I already owned at home. My desire was to convey my goofy, boho-inspired self with a burning man-type costume idea.

My passion was to create something sculptural to float behind me. Looking back at a few of my favorite fashion designers inspired me (such as Iris Van Herpen and Guo Pei). I knew if I walked, jumped, and did a little happy dance, the pampas grass attached to my body would create tons of movement and be hilarious. The only drawback was I wish I had more time to develop and polish up the piece to everything my heart desired for it to express.
