Der brandneue Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 ist da! Ich habe mir das Auto in Pebble Beach angeschaut und war abends bei der offiziellen Weltpremiere. Maybach sorgt für viele Neuerungen, und vor allem haben sie in einigen Punkten komplett eigens entwickelte Komponenten. Aber einen entscheidenden Punkt haben sie nicht erfüllt: Es ist ein V8 und leider kein V12! Was sagt ihr dazu? Nichtsdestotrotz bleibt die Kernfrage, ob es sich lohnt, den Sl 680 Maybach zu holen oder beim SL 63 zu bleiben.

The brand new Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 is HERE! I checked out the car at Pebble Beach and attended the official world premiere in the evening. Maybach is introducing many innovations, and above all, they have developed some completely unique components. But they didn’t meet one crucial point: it’s a V8 and unfortunately not a V12! What do you think about that? However, there are reasons for everything. Nevertheless, the core question remains whether it’s worth getting the Maybach or sticking with the SL 63.
