Happy Birthday & FESCH.TV:

For my print, I decided to show what inspires me to create art in the form I most commonly use, pull-tab cards. These cards are the most seen example of what I use when applying my creative strengths to make the people in my life feel special. This card is made up of 5 layers which have either been cut or glued into a composition and has an interior structure made of bookboard. On the backside of my card, the writing overlaps in the same fashion as the front which completes and makes this a real card. The main components of the card include my hand and two birthday cards that I’ve recently made for my friends. I decided to place the two cards on the slider to show them leaving my hand and being gifted to the person pulling the tab, making the cards move toward their hand and away from mine.
