OVER THE WAY by Lili Mekdachi & FESCH.TV:
„**SALUT LES GARÇONS** invited me to dive into a unique project where fashion comes alive, engaging in a constant dialogue with the elements and the moment.
This summer, like every summer, my family and I crossed the United States on an improvised road trip, without a specific destination, with the sole goal of driving to encounter new horizons. For the past 10 years, I have been collecting images of the American Dream, published by **Lola James Harper** in their photo book collection and printed on fine art paper in the Parisian art gallery. This summer, in August 2024, we embarked on this adventure that brings together photography, fashion, dance, and travel.
Interacting with, being inspired by, resonating and moving in sync with the light, the wind, the space, and the clothing that dresses me, either constraining or liberating my movement…
On the road, knowing how to capture the right moment, the moment when my energy aligns with the environment… Slowing down, opening the trunk, choosing a garment that seems to resonate with the moment and the place… Wearing the garment and allowing the interaction between the environment and the costume to guide my movement.
Thus, each landscape becomes a stage, each garment a costume, and each moment an opportunity to merge with the environment.“
