MARINA’S MEN & FESCH.TV:

Is a recreation of a post I originally made in February 2024 but now takes advantage of the significant quality increases made by today’s AI motion tools. I have always loved long dreadlocks on men harkening back to when I too could whip my lengthy tresses in the wind. The piece is a video reimagining of Marina Abramović’s seminal live performance art piece, „Relation in Time“ in which two individuals are seated facing away from one another connected by the fact that their long hair is tied together in a knot behind them.

The Midjourney prompt was a variation of:

A fashion photoshoot with two handsome African American men with long dread locks and hairstyles. They are facing away from one another, one on the far left and the other on the far right. They are pulling away from one another but dreads of their hair is tied together in the center of the image in one long knot. The men are tethered to the other’s hair. The image is whimsical and in the style of Marina Abramović. Please use Kodachrome film and 1970s color tones. –ar 16:9 –s 250 –c 50 –v 6.0
