Inspired by the Golden Age of Hip-Hop and traditional corsetry, “Subverted Street” challenges societal body standards. Rather than moulding the wearer’s body to fit prescribed aesthetics, this project celebrates the silhouette of the garments themselves. By prioritising individuality and self-expression, “Subverted Street” redefines fashion and subverts conventional norms, inviting wearers to embrace their unique identities.
