Alchimera, a Posthuman and Post-digital clothing collection

This project was conceived with the idea of understanding the role of fashion in society, and to question whether it is possible to transfer the intelligible ideas of clothing into virtuality. The necessity to wear the body does not come from a pure physical necessity, but from a social condition to communicate and build up an identity. My design proposal is base on using a contemporary and post-digital technique to improve a new workflow to design garments. Becuase of the Covid -19 Pandemic, more than ever before, social interactions are also taking place on digital platforms.
