The sweetest beach wedding ever filmed on location at the Inn on Pamlico Sound in Outer Banks, North Carolina.

Choosing music for wedding films is tricky. You aren’t allowed to just throw your favorite song in there or it will get flagged for copyright issues, so you have to go through an arduous process of listening to hours upon hours of “licensable music” to purchase for each new video project. This music is largely unoriginal and painful to listen to, but there are exceptions and those exceptions are what I typically hunt down for each film. However, after hearing the poem written for their ceremony and the genuine and emotional vows said to each other I knew I wanted to do something special for these two and was able to secure licensing for “Ekki múkk” by Sigur Ros. I have never used a song with lyrics for a wedding film before, but the vastness and ethereal nature of this sound and these lyrics felt absolutely perfect for drawing you into the magic these two created on their wedding day.
