Antimode is an artistic collective created to fight the standardization and useless consumerism of fashion.
Ghosts-artists / designers who work for the most famous luxury fashion brands collaborate with us to secretly unleash their creativity.
We conceive fashion as art.
We promote Italian artisanal fabrics and “made in Italy” know-how, both at increasing risk of extinction.
Our fabrics are recovered from Italian textile excellence, brought back to life from pre-consumer cemeteries (stock),
where they lay as considered too expensive and difficult to work with by fashion multinationals.
We give new life to the ancient knowledge that has led “made in Italy” to be synonymous of absolute quality.
Antimode is a limited edition streetwear / haute couture brand: one to maximum ten pieces are available for each item. Our production line is strictly tailored, in compliance with ethical and environmental standards.
This makes our products collectible, rare, unique.
Avoiding unnecessary overproduction, waste is minimized.
We propose two sweatshirt models that are genderless, oversize, one size;
one cut above the waist and one of classic length, born from a careful study to create a prodcuct fitting any body type.
Our sweatshirts are 100% oeko-tex cotton;
collars and cuffs are 100% recycled nylon.
Thanks to the horizontal zip, dividing the upper part (head) from the body (body), and the automatic buttons in the sleeves and in the waistband, each item we produce is completely modular and all Antimode pieces are interchangeable.
We embrace the philosophy of „reuse“, likely the most important
and underestimated in the world of green-economy.
We allow a continuous and infinite renewal of the article, in a world where it is certainly better to renew rather than continuously generate further waste.
