In a not-so-distant future, due to climate change and erratic human activities, Earth’s equilibrium has collapsed. Fractal patterns started growing in the most unexpected places. Plant branches split like lightning bolts, no longer bearing edible fruits. Birds obsessively swarm in unbreakable fractal patterns, and many of them perish from exhaustion.

Little did we know, the human consciousness is also split into multiple self-similar dimensions. We can exist in multiple dimensions simultaneously…Many of us get unknowingly trapped within our own minds, a parallel reality constructed inside our imaginations.

This fashion film will follow the visually enchanting journey of 3 women, who stepped up to explore their new realities. Their unique skills and knowledge somehow have allowed them to comprehend, control and interact with the mysterious phenomena around them. The women saw their skins change and evolve, eventually gaining new identities along the way. We will observe their journeys as they search and connect with others.

Each of the 3 muses have a distinct condition, such as alopecia, vitiligo and loss of limb, which are usually underrepresented in the media, because they are not conventionally considered “beautiful” characteristics.

Reinterpreting „The Birth of Venus“ under feminist lenses, this short film hopes to convey the birth of wonder, love and the spiritual beauty as a driving force of life.
