A celebration of fashion, music and emerging artists with unique perspectives, SMSB™ Sessions showcases ASICSTIGER™ Brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection with an inspiring platform of creative talent. SMSB™ represents ASICS’ trademark Sound Mind, Sound Body™, the English translation of the ASICS brand Latin acronym: Anima Sana In Corpore Sano.

At the intimate invite-only night one event, VIP guests browsed, shopped and mingled over cocktails in the SMSB Seeding Pop-Up Shop. The streamlined old-meets-new décor drew inspiration from ASICSTIGER Brand’s authentic Japanese heritage. The thoughtful interior represented the “manmade by nature” tone of the collection by using industrial materials like cinder blocks juxtaposed with fresh pops of lively green succulents and native Japanese plants. The evening culminated in the notoriously private Roosevelt Band Room where the audience was treated to performances by two emerging artists: Xavier Omar and Sylvan Lacue.

Night two delivered a high-energy vibe with an open guest list and outdoor placement at Rosy Oyster Bar near the iconic Roosevelt pool. Guests shopped, sipped and danced their way through the evening beneath glowing neon signs and lit palm trees. Throughout the night, fans and influencers experienced performances by four emerging musicians in an up-close, intimate setting that true music lovers crave: Xavier Omar, Sylvan Lacue, Joyce Wrice and Reo Cragun.
