AwÆk;End – Experimental Remix Film for Subculture Film Festival (Kinefinity Mavo LF)

150 years from now humans exist as non-form Artificial Entities (Æs) where time & place exist as constructs.

Two Æs travel back as children for a bit of a Roadside Picnic to the year 2030 to see where things begÆnded while also collecting random memories along the way.

This project was made exclusively for the inaugural Subculture Film Fest 2022 in Palm Beach County, South Florida.

Made using original content from a family outing to explore the Salton Sea, remixed with elements from Jon Rafman & SecondLife, and some sound design clips from Daftpunk’s Electroma.

Original elements filmed on the Kinefinity Mavo LF using a Nikkor 28-105mm zoom lens with Anamorphic Looks filter modification installed – Modified by Vid-Atlantic and available here:
