BACARRAT – The Harcourt Glass – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

To mark the 180th anniversary of the Harcourt glass, Baccarat invited 11 fashion designers to reinterpret this iconic object with 6 facets and a hexagonal foot. To celebrate this anniversary in style, Baccarat selected Japanese musician and songwriter, Yoshiki Hayashi, to use his creativity and infuse his universe into the legendary Harcourt glass, debuted during Paris Fashion Week. Yoshiki is best known as the leader and co-founder of the visual kei rock band, X Japan – for which he is the drummer, pianist and main songwriter – and was formerly the pianist for the Emperor of Japan. As he plays the piano in this film, the Harcourt glass seems to almost catch fire as it reflects the light, before seeming to be a poisonous flower in bloom, in varying shades of red – a colour that is dear to both Yashiki, and to Baccarat.
