In 2015 while entering a divorce Barbara was handed a diagnosis of Stage III cancer. While in the midst of treatment she vowed that if she beat cancer and got another shot at life she would live, bigger, better, and bolder with greater purpose, meaning and intent. After treatment and recovery she sold her wedding ring, hired a media trainer, and began pursuing her dream career in television.
