Our very straightforward business model is a fashion manufacturing & customization industry standard with a lot of manufacturers and sourcing platforms.

Baxter House uses this model because sampling takes a lot of leg work, and significant resources to make a pattern, grade it, make a sample, do fittings, source fabrics and trims for just one product, pay for the shipping of the fabric to-and-from the suppliers, shipping of the sample to you and back, all for making one sample.

The process is comparable to making a full production and requires a lot of fixed costs. This is the most lengthy part of the production process. After this, the production itself is quite straightforward. That’s why we only produce samples for confirmed orders, and not on their own.
