Brian and Jennifer Bumgarner founded Bumgarner Winery in the early 2000’s with a vision for high quality wines grown locally in the El Dorado AVA. In the early years the vineyards, production facilities, and tasting room were all leased while the Bumgarner’s built their brand and grew their customer base.

„From the very beginning, this has been a full family endeavor“, says Jennifer Bumgarner, „and continues until this day. Our children, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins have all lent their helping hands to bring this vision to fruition.“ In true Bumgarner fashion, you’re sure to see at least one of the family working the land, the winery, or in the tasting room every day of the week.

Bumgarner Winery & Vineyards now spans the El Dorado wine region on both east and south sides of the region. Retail tasting rooms with picnic areas in both Fair Play and Camino offering wine tasting, Hard Ciders, flights, wine/cider by-the-glass, and picnic fare.
