The Choquechaca trail takes you on a journey that brings you closer to the Andean world and sparks a deeper connection to the Andes Mountains.

Starting at 10,750 ft., you’ll meet at the house of our local Andean guides and close friends. Throughout this hike, you will learn about their indigenous culture from watching textile demonstrations to experiencing an ancient coca leaf ceremony. After exploring the Andean forest reserve, you will behold the remarkable and rarely visited Pumamarka ruins.
