CRANE movement exploration & FESCH.TV:

Some movement behind the “stills” [photography] of “CRANE;”
part of the River Series project of Kristian Whipple.

The creation of CRANE was a collaborative photoshoot; Destiny Arlette’s conceptual vision for the
site-specific location (arranged by Kristian Whipple) meeting Kristian Whipple’s River Series project. Inspired by
the scenery and body of water, Destiny was drawn to take on the character of a crane [bird], where she was then
moved to create her own conceptual interpretation of the animal through dance movement [dance photography]
and the fashion apparel of a suit blazer [worn backwards and slightly open breasted] and pants, turban, and a veil
that would cover her eyes. Although she stands and moves as a “crane,” the conceptual shoot encourages, and
hints, to varying interpretations from viewers.
