Panel Discussion: Diversifying your Income
Featuring Jade from Pepper You, Jewellery designer and maker Anisha Parmar and Eloisa Henderson-Figueroa. The panellists share their experiences of how they have diversified their incomes beyond selling products.

About Jade: After selling her first retail business in 2018, Jade became a freelance product photographer. During this time Jade also set up ‚Pepper You‘ – an online shop selling her clay and laser cut jewellery creations. Jade has been running her freelance photography work and retail business simultaneously for the last 4 years and in Spring 2023 opened her first ever bricks and mortar shop in East Sussex, selling her jewellery creations and curated goods made by other small businesses and artists. 

About Anisha: Anisha is a jewellery designer and artist with over 7 years experience in the fashion and arts sector. Anisha creates uplifting, handcrafted jewellery inspired by her lived experience of the South Asian diaspora within the UK.

Her work, draws heavily from the story of her family migrating from India, to East Africa and then to the UK, re-imagining their identity in a foreign land. Anisha has experience in running art and community projects as well as collaboratively working with museums, universities & cultural organisations.

About Eliosa: Eloisa is a Chilean/Scottish artist, born and raised in North London by musician parents who surrounded her with music and art and helped her to see the beauty of following your own path and doing something that you love. Following a varied career to date, Eloisa discovered collage and a passion for colour and shape. She works on large scale murals for a range of clients as well as running workshops and producing products too.
