Duncan Steven is an Influence Expert, founder and Director of the Influence Association and Professional Keynote Speaker. He helps companies, businesses, brands, teams and leaders become more persuasive and leverage more influence and at the same time, become effective through what they say and how they act.

Biography:

Duncan has been passionate about influence and persuasion and why people act and behave the way they do since a young age. He used these skills after graduating University to become one of of just 10 candidates out of 5,000 to be part of a £250 million investment into the Virgin group to lead the company forward.

Alongside playing a key role in turning around the business, he developed his passion for coaching and training others and was a contributing factor for his early successes. After several years in training and development he took his love of influence and persuasion and established the Influence Association. Alongside this, he also established several successful six figure businesses and created an Psychological Illusion Show (with underpinnings of influence and persuasion) which he toured theatres and private companies around the world.

After, many requests, Duncan decided to pour all of his knowledge into a book and published ‚Effective Influence‘, which has quickly established itself as the Influence book of choice for many industry professionals. Duncan continued sharing his insights into influence and effectiveness and focussed all his attention on keynote speaking and delivering masterclasses to assist companies and individuals increase their influence and effectiveness.

Fast forward 10 years, and Duncan is now one of the most sought-after influence and persuasion keynote speakers. He is frequently hired as a sales speaker, marketing speaker, leadership keynote speaker, motivational speaker and influence speaker.

He is often hired by companies as a sales trainer to deliver a masterclass on influencing more customers and clients. He helps business leaders, sales professionals, marketing executives, CEO’s and business teams become more effective in their work and private lives by leveraging more influence in social and business situations.
