I’m faded like some 90’s jeans
In the store I was vibrant
I couldn’t stand them tired lookin light blue denim
But that’s not what’s in Fashion
I thought this was a fad that wouldn’t get any traction
but as I weathered storms, got ripped, and torn
My value increased the more I was worn.
So now I cant stand these fresh new pairs
I drop knowledge on them denims but they just don’t care.
You know what I tell em?
That they’re too obsessed with their color and their creases
This consumeristic culture is designed to tear us to pieces
These designers are not For Us By Us
they don’t care if you rep Polo or Hilfiger
They got us on a Phat Farm and they herd us like sheep.
and can you Guess how they responded?
