Family Surf Lessons from Gwithian Beach and Praa Sands, Cornwall & FESCH.TV:

Gwithian and Praa Sands are highly regarded as two of the most family friendly beaches for surf lessons in Cornwall. There is not a better family experience to share in Cornwall than surfing. Whether it’s the thrill of all the family standing up and sharing a ‘Party Wave’. Or the entertainment of watching each other ‚Wipeout‘ in spectacular fashion.

At Global Boarders safety is everything, all of our instructors are highly trained lifeguards each with over 15 years surfing and lifesaving experience. Our wetsuits are all winter thickness and surfboards are kept to the highest standards and are no more than 2 years old. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult when joining a family surf lesson. For families with younger children we would recommend booking a Private Family Lesson.

All participants will benefit from exclusive use of our facilities, including heated changing rooms, lockers and toilets. Directly next to the surf school you can find our friends at Sunset Surf Cafe, Gwithian’s only beach front cafe. Open daily 10am – 4pm giving surfers and spectators access to lovely food and drink during your visit.
