After talking to hundreds of greenhouse farmers we found that 99% of them are not reaching the maximum yield for their operation. They are dealing with lots of variables, data silos, and complex relationships. That is where our solution comes in, it controls the growing environment and gathers data as input variables to create a digital twin, and compares it against output variables such as weight or quality of the harvest for each crop. Ayni Precision Agriculture platform combines Internet of Things devices, Web/Mobile application, Distributed Ledger Technologies, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The IoT devices monitor and actuate the growing environment; IoT data is sent to the Application where contextual data is added by the farmer to automate the cultivation planning, control and deliveries workflows. All the data is sent through IOTA Streams in a fee-less fashion to the tangle, where it becomes immutable, and opens up a new revenue stream for the farmer for data commercialization with third parties. Our Machine Learning and Data Science algorithms subscribe to the Data Streams to identify optimal growing conditions and data patterns to finally report back to the farmer. The optimal growing conditions for each crop are tokenized with NFTs, so the farmer can sell the report to other farmers along with the supporting data from the IoT devices.
