Fit Tip: Step Training on Land or in Water

(5 minutes) Step training adds a new dimension to fitness training in water and/or on land. Experience the lower body strengthening and functionality as well as added cardiovascular benefits with travel. The same step may be utilized for land or in the pool. This step weighs around 20 lbs and will not shift in the water. Risers may be added for 6 inch or 8 inch vertical height. On land this makes a difference in terms of increased intensity however, in water style of moves (longer lever ) is more effective to increase intensity level.
