FLASHBACK: 2008-05-17 / May 17th, 2008

This week’s Flashback Video brings us back 14 years when the UK Charts had 2 mega US-popstars in a duet on top. For her it was the 13th and so far final #1 song in the country, for him it was the 3rd of 4 #1 singles there. A random fact: Both appeared on their own as interval act during a Eurovision final. Meanwhile the US Billboard Charts were led by the winner of a British casting show. Although it was her only #1 song across the pond, she surely has to be considered the most successful English casting show winnner internationally. And in Germany another casting show winner topped the chart – this was his 3rd and final #1 song in his homecountry.
