Ford Explorer – Sound Design Mix & FESCH.TV:

We were commissioned to Sound Design this video in a diegetic fashion, to keep it natural and real, so the viewer feels like they are with the family as they go about their travels. We were provided only the dialog recordings, some in vehicle as seen in on camera scenes, some OC B-Roll, but the majority of the dialog came from a recorded interview in a conference room. Everything else is Sound Designed. We did a work-up on a vehicle to capture the drive train and some of the specific sounds, like the parking sequence and the collision avoidance, etc…
Also for much of the driving coverage. This was a lot of work, with a wide open canvas. I think the painting speaks for itself.
