Sarah Frede completed the master’s program ‚Integrated Design‘ in the master studio ‚Fashion, Society and the Individual’. She worked and researched at the intersections of nature and technology. In her interdisciplinary way of working she likes to cooperate with creative people from other disciplines. She tests the possibilities of new technologies for contemporary fashion design. For her final collection GHOST STORIES she used new tools such as 3D scanners in a playful and intuitive way that allows her to find inspiration at the edges of reality and virtuality. A strong focus is on the development of new surfaces and the manipulation of materials.
