A/W 2019 Shenzhen Fashion Week – GO WITH THE FLOW

With the theme of „Fashion, Make Life Better“, 2019 Shenzhen Fashion Week combines technology, art and fashion. SenseTeam launched „Go With The Flow“ to integrate creativity, with profound Chinese philosophical concepts, coupled with simple and concise ideas. Visual discourse, using traditional paper media that radiates the beauty of craftsmanship and materials, with the presentation of modern electronic music. Through the collision and fusion of tradition and modernity, we pursue the natural beauty of fashion, and let the global attention focus on the new fashion bay area again.

Go with the flow in Chinese is “自然而然“. 自然, also has the meaning of nature which refers to a state of development that conforms to internal laws, and “然” refers to the result of development and change. People’s pursuit of beauty and harmony stems from the hints of nature. The beauty of nature is natural, and the beauty of fashion can also grow naturally. In the design, we imitate the signs of nature, remove superfluous structures, and interpret the concept of „Go With The Flow“ with minimalist natural forms and geometric compositions – fashion, not deliberate, but a kind of natural.

超以象外，得其环中：Go beyond the surface description of life and grasp the core content of the work

月印万川：There is only one general law of the world, and the laws of specific affairs are contained in the whole.

万物皆圆：Everything is round (circle). No matter what, everything is smooth sailing and a happy result

Circle is the law of nature and the most natural philosophy. The circle is full of dynamic sense of circulation and full of static beauty. The circle is one, with no beginning and no end, no source and no end. The circle of fashion is inclusive, reciprocating, inclusive in fusion, revisiting the past and exploring the unknown in changing styles, and creating eternal classics in reciprocation. There is a circle outside the circle, we can’t find out what it is, we can only look for the dawn in the midnight, and go deeper in the depths.

„Go With The Flow“- three colors, three elements. Orange represents the unknown, blue represents inspiration, and purple represents bloom. Bubbles, water droplets and fireworks, through different use of circles, deduce the inner vitality and outer tension of fashion with a progressive rhythm.
