About the song:
I’m really into writing my own songs. That said, I’ve recorded a bunch of cover songs in my home studio as ‚practice‘ for learning how to use my studio gear.
I do not have an actual band so I have to record all the instruments and vocals myself.
About the video: If I get to travel the world I think about unusual locations to make music videos. Sometimes a thought comes into my head that reminds me of a song I’ve recorded. I was visiting Vietnam and the rivers were the greenest I’d ever seen anywhere. It reminded me that I’d recorded a cover of Green River. So I simply popped out the video camera and shot footage for the music video. I did NOT have a playback system to hear the song so I just sang it into the air and hoped I’d remember all the lyrics and stay in time somehow. When I returned home I edited together the footage.
