Hi from Jolie Crimaldi! I’m 11 years old, have 2 siblings, 5 pets, and L-O-V-E to dance! After begging my parents for years to join dance, my patience and perseverance finally paid off 3 years ago when they finally enrolled me in dance! Prior to that, I tried my best to teach myself dance by studying and practicing from videos on YouTube. Dance is my passion and I want to show girls everywhere that you don’t have to start dancing when you’re 2 years old to become a phenomenal dancer!
My intention is to attend Columbia University and pursue a career on Broadway! I know it takes a lot of determination and hard work to achieve either of these goals, but I’m already working hard. For example, I currently take two academic classes per year at John Hopkins University’s CTY program and attend every dance workshop or training event that is possible. I’m also working toward my academic goal to attain a 700 on the math portion of the SAT before I turn 13 to gain acceptance to Hopkins’ SET Program. I love practicing new dance skills, learning new combinations, and helping my peers. I’m excited to put in the hours of hard work and travel where necessary to advance my dance skills. Our family’s motto is “Never Give Up” and that’s exactly what I intend to do. I won’t give up until I see you all on Broadway! #nevergiveup #joliec
