Every year these tiny birds no bigger than a Tim Tam travel thousands of kilometres to the shores here in Hobsons Bay. The Red Necked Stints journey is full of tribulation and when these weary traveler’s arrive they need a safe place to rest and refuel for the journey ahead. You can help the Red Neck Stint by protecting their habitat, leashing your dog and giving them space.
