FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

HÓNG is an experimental fashion film that investigates
and chronicles the life of a liberated woman in China after 1949.
Constructed by nine looks and seven scenes, HÓNG is a retrospective look into
Chinese feminism as a character in the conjunction of politics, individualism, and
nationalism. The design of this collection recalls silhouettes and details from
iconic fashions associated with China’s various „feminine“ identities, especially
female revolutionaries and feminist activists active during the 1920s to 1950s.
We see the film as an archive and a reflection of an essential part of our history.
In creating HONG, we were able to rethink and challenge our definition of fashion
and film.
