HYBRID HUMANS – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Presenting “Hybrid Humans”, the short film debuting on Wednesday 6th January 2022 as part of its submission to the Flatpack Film Festival. The film and accompanying zine, directed by MA Fashion Promotion student Lauren Brown was largely inspired by Kai Isaiah Jamal’s poem ‘BOY’. The film aims to tell the story of the blurred lines and borders we; the younger generation feel regarding gender and binaries.

This film features six individuals, aged 19 – 25 from across the United Kingdom. Sound tracked by a heartfelt reading of the poem, the film represents the tenacity, empathy, optimism and honesty the next generation exude during their mission to redefine and represent the world through a window of fluidity.
