We are all bound by the land we come from – the landscapes which rise and fall from the ground beneath us. These are the lands of our home which carry our feet. This ‘home’ – a place, a center, a connection and a feeling.

For some, ‘home’ may be temporary. For others it may be a flickering image built on pieces and places. For us this shoot came to represent home in both a very direct sense and in a more artistic one.

As it turns out Louise and our photographer Asbjørn grew up in the same local region of the country and our producer Benjamin went to school there. With this in mind we picked locations which all represented different stories and individual experiences for us.

This approach set the artistic direction of the production, merging Louise’s beautiful keys with scenes of longing, travel and nature.
