IMAGINED PAGES Proo 1 – FESCH.TV
FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:
Can you speak a fashion image? Can you say a fashion spread? Can word-pictures and sensory symbols sub in for the tactile stuff of broadsides, brochures, booklets, and pulp? IMAGINED PAGES is a community-sourced fashion magazine with no printed words, no styled photographs, no real bodies, no clothing, no actual pages at all, and it says yes. You can.”
NOVELLA GALLERY, with collaborator Laura Sullivan Cassidy, asked friends (artists, writers, thinkers, makers, fashion people, non-fashion people) to submit vivid, self-recorded page descriptions that were then collated and collaged alongside abstract moving images and music by producer Radical Kid. The resulting magazine will be shared via vintage box TVs and headphones inside a pop-up installation as part of PAGES—a month-long series of books, zines, pages, and people that takes place at GIFT SHOP in Seattle, Washington in June 2021.
