“All Diseases Begin in the Gut!” -Hippocrates
Join us for another healing meditation as we energetically transform the function and structure of our GUT HEALTH, from the rooter (i.e., sinuses, eyes, nose, ears, throat) to the tooter (i.e., digestion and elimination systems), including mucous membranes, tissues, junctions, microbiome, etc. We will also release emotional and other blockages in the gut, belly and solar plexus zones to optimize your wellbeing.

“The gut is the seat of all feeling. Polluting the gut not only cripples your immune system, but also destroys your sense of empathy, the ability to identify with other humans. Bad bacteria in the gut creates neurological issues (e.g., autism). People who think that feelings come from the heart are wrong. The gut is where you feel the loss of a loved one first. It’s where you feel pain and a heavy bulk of your emotions. It’s the central base of your entire immune system. If your gut is loaded with negative bacteria, it affects your mind. If you poison the gut, it affects your entire nervous system, your sense of reasoning, and your senses.” ― Rise Up and Salute the Sun by Kassem
Though poor digestion (i.e., gas, bloating, diarrhea, or constipation) is a manifestation of an unhealthy GI tract, it can manifest in other ways like:
1. Common skin conditions like eczema, acne, and psoriasis are linked to a damaged gut. Inflammation in the GI tract from the lack of a nutritious diet, stress or allergies can cause an increase in leaking and releasing of certain proteins into the body which irritate the skin and cause several harmful conditions.
2. Joint Pain- When an imbalance in microflora in the GI tract becomes an issue, inflammation can quickly spread to the entire body via harmful substances leaking from this complex system and passing into circulation. These substances can then travel to tendons, muscles, and joints causing both inflammation and pain.
3. Low Energy Fatigue- An unhealthy gut can have a negative impact on your circadian rhythm which disrupts sleep and can leave you feeling tired throughout the day.
4. Brain Fog- The GI tract produces neurotransmitters that are linked to thoughts, moods, concentration, and other cognitive abilities. If dysbiosis occurs, inflammatory reactions may occur leading to a negative impact on both memory and learning.
5. Anxiety Depression- There is a definitive link between both the GI tract and the brain. Therefore, disturbances leading to inflammation in the central nervous system are actually linked to issues like anxiety and depression. Around half of the dopamine found in the body and the majority of serotonin are produced in the gut. If compromised, these “happy hormones” will be affected leading to poor mood or a depressed state. Furthermore, a leaky gut could cause these hormones to be lost or “leaked” rather than used properly.
6. Autoimmunity- with the systemic inflammation that occurs from an unhealthy gut (GI tract), the functioning of the immune system weakens. This can lead to several autoimmune diseases where the body will, rather than demolish harmful invaders, go after itself, (i.e., rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, lupus, ulcerative colitis, and many others). Gluten is known to be a major contributor of leaky gut and a factor for autoimmune issues.
What you DON’T eat can be more important than what you DO eat! You’re welcome to stay after healing for sharing and discussion.
