JoAnn Newcomer

CAVE CREEK – Our sweet JoAnn Heck Newcomer walked thru the gates of Heaven on March 12th at the age of 79.
JoAnn was born in Santa Maria, CA. Her parents were Ted & Lucille and one sister Carol. She lived in Santa Maria until High School. Then her family moved to Ventura, CA. While in Santa Maria she met the love of her life George. They married in 1963 and had two beautiful daughters Georjann & Luann. George and JoAnn had a wonderful life together until George passed away in 2018. They had 5 grandkids, Elaina, Braydon, Maguire, Bryson & Marshall and a wonderful nephew Kris and many other nieces and nephews whom they loved very much. JoAnn worked at a bank in Ventura for a couple of years then became a Teacher Assistant at Temple Christian School. Later she became a Travel Consultant. JoAnn organized many trips for her clients where she made many friends. She loved writing letters and cards to friends and family. JoAnn was a wonderful Christian woman and inspired people around her. JoAnn will be missed by all that knew her. Services will be held on Monday March the 21st at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary 6500 E Bell Rd Scottsdale, AZ. Viewing is from 2:00 – 4:00. Service will begin at 4:00. JoAnn will be interned in Ventura, CA on Wednesday March 23rd at Ivy Lawn Cemetery at 1:00pm.
